Our family at Boone Gardiner has long understood the connection of people to the land. Hope and Matt both were fortunate enough to grow up with parents and grandparents who had working farms and nurseries and instilled this deep connection to the land in them both at a young age. Both have always said that they were raised with one foot in the city and one foot in the country.
Hope’s family background being Versailles and Woodford County, where many of her family members still farm and live today. Matt’s being Eastern Jefferson County and Oldham County over the years.
Wanting to keep that legacy going, they moved their young family to Oldham County years ago and haven’t looked back. Raising and teaching their children about the benefits and importance of land, farming and where our food comes from.
We have taken this seriously over the years serving on various boards and groups who support land conservation and stewardship principles.
